Biography
Selma Sobotker was born on 27 October 1891 in Hohensalza (now Inowroclaw) in what was then the province of Posen. Not much is known about her life.
She was married to Oskar Jungmann, who ran a cigar shop in Berlin. Daughter Gerda was born in 1913, son Hans in 1916. The family lived at Bochumer Straße 15 in Berlin-Moabit.
Hans Jungmann fled to Shanghai via Italy in 1938. His parents followed a year later.
After the war, Selma and Oskar Jungmann moved from Shanghai to Haifa, Israel where she lived the rest of her life. Selma died on February 27, 1975 at the age of 83.
