    Walter Weisstein was born on June 5, 1900 in Ortelsburg (now Szczytno). He was the son of Margarete Weisstein. In the late 1930s he lived at Thomasiusstr. 3, in Berlin Moabit. He was a merchant by profession. On March 1, 1943, the 42-year-old Walter Weisstein was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau on the “31. Osttransport“ and murdered.
