Biography
Berta Nelson, geb. Hirschbach, wurde am 14. Juni 1871 in Glogau/Schlesien (heute Głogów) geboren. Zusammen mit ihrem Mann Bernhard Nelson wohnte sie seit dem 1. Oktober 1909 in der Amsterdamerstr. 14 im Wedding. Ihr Mann verstarb am 26. Mai 1931 in Berlin. Berta Nelson wurde mit dem „II. Transport“ vom 24. Oktober 1941 nach Lodz/Litzmannstadt deportiert, wo sie einen Monat später ermordet wurde.
