Biography
Julius Jakob Rothmann was born on 15 March 1880 in Ludwikowo in the province of Posen.
It is not known when he moved to Berlin. He was a merchant and ran a leather goods shop. He was married to Elisabeth Rothmann, née Proskauer. The couple had no children.
Before they had to move to Elberfelder Straße during the war, they lived at Alt Moabit 80 for many years.
Julius Jakob and Elisabeth Rothmann were deported from Elberfelder Strasse to Auschwitz on 12 January 1943 and murdered there.
