Little is known about the life of Martin Deutsch.
He was born on August 30, 1911 in Zempelburg in West Prussia. He worked in the textile industry. He was married to Romana Deutsch, née Pazer. The couple had a daughter. Eveline Sylvia was born on July 13, 1938 in Berlin.
The only known residence of the family in Berlin was at Dresdener Strasse 97 in Berlin-Mitte. According to the 1939 census, two other people lived in the apartment, Josef Rosner and Fritz Wolff. Josef Rosner was the only one who managed to escape to the USA. Fritz Wolff was murdered in Auschwitz in 1943.
Martin, Romana and Eveline Sylvia Deutsch were deported to Kaunas / Kovno in Lithuania on November 17, 1941. On November 25th they were murdered there in Fort IX.
