Karolin Ernestine Calamaro née Thomas

Unfortunately, we know nothing about Karoline Ernestine Calamaro, the wife of Dr Leon Calamaro. 
She was born Karoline Ernestine Thomas on 22 September 1888 in Barmen (today a district of Wuppertal). She and Leon met in Heidelberg and married in 1921 and had two children, Sonjia Fortouni and Sylvio David.  She was not Jewish, but shared the persecution fate of her husband and her two children.
She died of leukaemia in Athens on 20.1.1941.
